French fragrance house Parfex (part of Croda) has begun the extension and renovation of its industrial site in Grasse, located in the Bois de Grasse Business Park.

The project represents nearly 5,000m² (53,819ft²) of new construction and renovation of existing structures, to be carried out by GSE, a general contractor for commercial real estate.

The project comprises two phases, an expansion stage as well as a renovation of the existing site. Parfex has invested €12m in the expansion, which will create a surface area of 3,192m² (34,358ft²). It will see the installation of a robotic volumetric dosing system, developed with Contexa.

The company has invested around €4m in the renovation of the existing site. The renovated area spans 1,745m² (18,783ft²), including 255m² of new space (2,744ft²).

Parfex says the new complex, designed by architect Didier Becchetti, will strengthen its production and storage capabilities.

Cristian Galucci, CEO of Parfex, said: “This investment is part of a long-term strategy that began in early 2023 with the construction of our new creation center, which opened in June 2025 […] The future factory will be built to the highest standards of sustainability, safety, and technology, with latest-generation robots that will enable us to triple our capacity. This commitment once again confirms Parfex’s confidence in the Grasse region and its unique ecosystem.”
