French department-store group Printemps has named Jean-Marc Bellaiche ceo, effective October 1. He was most recently chief partnership and strategy officer at French unicorn and analytics company Contentsquare. Bellaiche was previously Tiffany & Co’s strategy and business development senior vice president and was an executive committee member. He was credited with boosting Tiffany’s non-jewelry categories and accelerating the brand’s digital transformation. .
Bellaiche also spent 20 years at consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was senior partner and managing director. He was also BCG’s global leader for the Luxury Fashion, Beauty and Department stores sector and co-led the firm’s retail practice’s digital sector.
Printemps Supervisory Board said Bellaiche will help the department-store group re-launch growth and accelerate its internationalization and digitalization.
Bellaiche replaces Paolo de Cesare, who left the company earlier this year.
