French department-store group Printemps launched live shopping this week on its website and Instagram.
The 20-minute session featured Printemps Personal Shopper Tatiana Couffrant and guests showcasing products around the theme “la liberté retrouvée” (freedom refound). Products featured included fashion, accessories, homeware and beauty from brands such as Givenchy, Veronique Gabai, Tom Ford Beauty (ELC), Burberry, Vivienne Westwood and Hermès, among others.
In a chat section viewers could ask questions and interact with each other and a Printemps representative responded directly to questions. Products featured in the livestream appeared on the right of the livestream screen. Viewers could click on the products and were directed to the product’s page on Printemps’ website where they could purchase.
The livestreams are available to rewatch on the retailer’s site.
The next live shopping is set to take place July 7 and will focus on finding products for summer events, such as weddings.
