BW Confidential is to present this year’s ‘Beauty Retailer of the Year Award’ to travel retailer Qatar Duty Free.
Thabet Musleh, Chief Retail and Hospitality Officer at Qatar Airways, will accept the Award at BW Confidential’s The Beauty Party in Cannes on September 30.
The BW Confidential ‘Beauty Retailer of the Year Award’ recognizes retail excellence, with a particular focus on innovation, technology and customer understanding.
This year is a milestone year for Qatar Duty Free, as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. The company, which is a subsidiary of Qatar Airways and operates the retail and food & beverage offer at Hamad International Airport in Doha, has come a long way in the past 25 years years. From just a handful of stores in 2000, it now operates more than 200 boutiques and dining outlets covering more than 40,000m2.
Qatar Duty Free was selected for the ‘Beauty Retailer of the Year Award’ by BW Confidential’s editorial staff and with input from key industry executives. The company was chosen for the impressive journey it has made over the past 25 years, as well as for its vision, its creative approach, and having developed one of the most innovative retail offers worldwide.
The ‘Beauty Retailer of the Year Award’ will be presented to Thabet Musleh at BW Confidential’s The Beauty Party, which will take place on the evening of September 30 at the Majestic Hotel in Cannes, during the TFWA World Exhibition.

The Beauty Party will take place on Tuesday September 30 at the Majestic Hotel in Cannes. The event is by invitation only.
