Revieve unveils beauty intelligence platform

AI beauty and wellness technology company Revieve has unveiled BeautyCatalyst, which it describes as a beauty commerce intelligence platform. BeautyCatalyst aims to bring together intelligence in the areas of consumers, products, ingredients, formulations, experiences and markets to contribute to a broader understanding of consumers and the category.

Revieve says that while beauty techn (such as skin analysis, product recommendations and virtual try-on) has helped make specific stages of the consumer journey more data-driven, the intelligence from these interactions has often remained isolated in different technologies, channels and business systems.

Rather than treating personalization as a series of separate interactions, Revieve says the platform connects insights across the consumer journey and learns from how consumers interact with beauty. It adds that the resulting intelligence can help brands and retailers identify broader patterns in consumer needs, product-market fit, emerging demand and commercial opportunities. The company says that this information can inform marketing, merchandising, assortment, innovation and consumer experiences.

BeautyCatalyst comprises four intelligence pillars:

Beauty Intelligence organizes information across products, ingredients, formulations, consumer concerns, routines, services and recommendation logic into a connected knowledge framework. This provides the beauty-specific foundation for the platform.

Experience & Activation applies this intelligence through AI advisors, virtual experiences and personalized consumer journeys across beauty categories, channels and emerging AI environments.

Audience & Market Intelligence brings together signals from consumers, products, experiences and markets to identify patterns in audience needs, emerging demand and product-market fit, as well as changes in consumer behavior.

Business Decision Intelligence combines beauty, consumer and market insights to help decision-making in areas such as marketing, merchandising, assortment, product innovation and growth.

These four pillars form what Revieve calls the BeautyCatalyst Flywheel, where consumer experiences generate intelligence that can identify new opportunities, and subsequent decisions and actions generate additional signals that continuously improve the platform.

Revieve says BeautyCatalyst was built for agentic AI, providing the beauty-specific context to enable more relevant discovery, guidance and adaptive experiences.
