US-based Revlon has named Martine Williamson chief marketing officer. Williamson reports directly to Revlon president and ceo Debra Perelman.
Williamson was previously skincare pharmaceutical company Topix Pharmaceuticals strategic marketing advisor. She was responsible for brand incubation, building the direct-to-consumer business, relaunching a premium skincare brand and creating the brand’s strategy.
She has also worked in various leadership positions at Revlon’s global and US marketing teams between 2001 and 2015.
As reported, in mid-November Revlon avoided bankruptcy after it reached a deal on a debt exchange offer before a November 16 deadline.
Revlon’s net sales fell 20.1% year-over-year in the third quarter.
