Dutch brand Rituals’ Global Travel Retail Director Neil Ebbutt is leaving the company after 20 years with the brand. He will be succeeded by Melvin Broekaart.

Ebbutt joined Rituals in 2001 as a Founding Partner and oversaw the launch of the brand’s travel-retail business in 2012. Rituals’ travel-retail division now has a presence in 104 countries, in 600 shop-in-shops and 15 standalone stores in addition to global hotel and airline agreements. The brand is set to launch in duty-free & hotels in Hong Kong and Hainan next month.

Broekaart has worked in travel retail in various leadership positions at companies such as Heineken, Philips and Aircommerce Group.

Both Broekaart and Ebbutt will be at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes to ensure a smooth transition with partners, says Rituals.
