Beauty retailer Sephora is to launch a global campaign to mark International Women’s Day (March 8). The campaign, whose tagline is “Together we…” will highlight what it calls ‘remarkable women’ in its community. The retailer will reveal stories and testimonies from women founders of brands sold at Sephora, employees and beauty advisors. This will include Miranda Kerr, founder of Kora Organics, Jen Atkin for OUAI and Tiffany Masterson, founder of Drunk Elephant.
Sephora will also expand its “Classes for Confidence” program from March 8 across the world to 24 markets. “Classes for Confidence” are workshops organized in partnership with non-profit organizations to support disadvantaged communities and help restore confidence for women facing major life changes.
This year, Sephora will renew its partnership in France with Force Femme, which supports unemployed women over the age of 45 in their efforts to return to work or create a business.
In addition, Sephora will be a partner of WOMAN, an exhibition in Paris that highlights the voices of 2,000 women across 50 countries and based on the film released in 2020 by Anastasia Mikova and Yann-Arthus Bertrand.
