German flavor and fragrance company Symrise’s subsidiary SFA NEROLI has opened a new creative center in Saint Cézaire-sur-Siagne, located in the Grasse region in the south of France.

The center spans 10,000m2 and will house staff in fragrance creation, R&D, and supply chain.

Symrise says the new campus will enable it to build on the expertise resulting from the recent merger of the local fragrance houses SFA Romani, Créations & Parfums, and Floressance, as well as its own Maison Lautier 1795 and its proprietary Delaire 1876 fragrance bases. The company says that together, this creates an ecosystem of fragrance creation, which it calls “Symrise South.”
