Shams acquires fragrance company Scentys

Olfactory design company Shams has acquired French fragrance tech company Scentys.

Scentys, which was created in 2004, develops a range of scented solutions for luxury brands, including capsules, scented holders, sensory objects and fragrance diffusion devices.

Shams creates olfactory signatures for brands and venues and manufactures bespoke scented products. The company was founded 20 years ago and is present in over 70 countries. It says its expertise is built on three pillars: the creation of exclusive olfactory signatures, customized diffusion through technologies and the development of scented and cosmetic products aligned with its clients’ brand positioning.

The companies say the acquisition combines two complementary areas of expertise for the luxury sector, retail, hospitality and venues. “We are strengthening our development capabilities and building a French ecosystem dedicated to fragrance for brands,” the companies said in a Linkedin post.
