BW Confidential checks out what is making a splash on social media: Harry Potter make-up
While Harry Potter-themed social-media posts aren’t new, lately users have begun posting beauty and make-up looks according to the movie’s four different Hogwarts houses, thanks to a trending sound on TikTok called “Harry Potter Fashion.”
The trend has gained popularity in part thanks to the approaching Halloween season as users post costume ideas.
Users lip sync to the films’ characters announcing the four different Hogwarts houses, while showing their make-up looks for each house.
Most post intricate face make-up, with painted-on lions, bird, badgers and snakes for the houses’ respective mascots.
Others have approached the trend with a more everyday look, with some posting each house as an eyeshadow look.
