Travel-retail association TFWA has partnered with BW Confidential to host its ‘Beauty in Travel Retail’ webinar next month.
The webinar, which will take place on June 14 and 15 on TFWA’s online platform, TFWA 365, will focus on how beauty is set to play a pivotal role in the rebound of the duty-free and travel-retail market.
It will examine the key trends and learnings from domestic markets that will shape the travel-retail business of tomorrow, and analyze how beauty assortments are changing. There will also be discussion and debate about how social media and influencers are changing the way beauty companies engage their customers, and how brands and retailers can better use digital to drive sales.

The association will host a string of webinars throughout the rest of the year, including a “H2 Travel Outlook” webinar that will focus on prospects for the travel industry in the second half of the year. It is scheduled for July 19 and will feature data and forecasts from travel analysts.
Meanwhile, in the week starting September 12, TFWA will host a preview of this year’s World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, which will take place from October 2 to 6. The webinar will highlight some of the headline features and latest brand launches to be showcased at the event.
Other webinars focused on the wines & spirits and confectionery categories will take place in October and December.
