The Perfume Shop suspends online deliveries

UK-based fragrance retailer The Perfume Shop (AS Watson Group) has suspended online deliveries as of April 1 to ensure that its warehouse team can stay home amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said in a statement.

Shoppers will still be able to access the retailer’s website to browse its range, engage with content including hints and tips and use live video chat for a fragrance consultation.

On March 22, the retailer announced the closure of all its stores in line with the UK government’s advice regarding COVID-19-related measures. The Perfume Shop has not provided a reopening date for its stores or online deliveries.

On March 23, AS Watson Group announced an employee support package of £40m ($49.5m) to support staff during the COVID-19 outbreak. The package covers its UK retail businesses, including Superdrug, Savers and The Perfume Shop.
