Korea’s The Shilla Duty Free has integrated its online and offline rewards system into what it calls “S Rewards.” The move is intended to improve customer convenience, the retailer says.
As of August 13, Shilla combined the Prepaid Card provided by offline stores and Lala Cash provided by The Shilla Online Duty Free into “S Rewards.”
Existing Prepaid Cards can be used up until the respective expiration date, while all Lala Cash was converted to S Rewards on August 13.
S Rewards points can be used at all offline and online stores.
Customers can participate in real-time events and save rewards via The Shilla Duty Free mobile app. Users can also check their balance and purchase history via the “S Rewards” button.
The retailer launched the integrated global membership service S Rewards last year.
S Rewards points are allocated according to purchase amounts made at Shilla Duty Free online and offline stores in Korea, Singapore Changi Airport, Hong Kong International Airport and through various events.
Saved points can be used as cash for duty-free shopping.
