US beauty retailer Ulta Beauty has named Michelle Crossan-Matos Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective today.
Crossan-Matos will be responsible for all marketing, loyalty, creative operations, store design, public relations, consumer insights and UB Media activities.
Prior to joining Ulta Beauty, Crossan-Matos was Chief Marketing, Citizenship & Communications Officer at Samsung Electronics America, where she led the company’s US consumer and B2B marketing and communications strategy.
Before Samsung Crossan-Matos was CMO of British manufacturer and retailer of luxury mobile phones Vertu. She also spent 16 years at P&G in regional brand leadership roles for brands and segments such as celebrity fragrances, Anna Sui and Escada Beauty.
