Ulta Beauty temporarily closed 100 stores amid US protests

US-based beauty retailer Ulta Beauty has temporarily closed some 100 locations across the US amid looting during protests.

Some of the locations were impacted by violence in specific cities, Ulta says, while others were closed proactively.

The retailer notes that its teams are beginning to re-open these stores.

Currently some 900 Ulta Beauty stores offer Curbside Pickup, while some 650 locations are open for full retail.

Salons are only offering hair services at the moment and by appointment only.

As reported, Ulta Beauty closed all of its 1,254 locations as of March 19 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
