Unilever CEO Alan Jope plans to retire from the company at the end of 2023 after five years in the role.
The company’s Board has begun to look for a successor and will consider both internal and external candidates.
Jope has worked at Unilever for 35 years. Prior to being named CEO in 2019, he was President of the company’s Beauty & Personal Care division from 2014 to 2018.
