Unilever invests in Indonesian beauty brand Esqa

Unilever’s venture capital arm Unilever Ventures has invested in Indonesian beauty brand Esqa. The move marks Unilever Ventures first investment in a Southeast Asian beauty brand.

Founded in 2015, Esqa sells vegan and halal cosmetics and skincare. The brand sells online and at retailers such as Sephora, Watsons and Sociolla. It is available in Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.
