Sustainability and social issues will be among the major themes discussed at beauty association CEW France’s day-long conference, Journée de la Beauté.
The event, which takes place in Paris on September 22, will focus on how the beauty industry can respond to and participate in major global concerns facing consumers, including the climate change and the health crisis. The association claims that companies must now prove that their actions have a real impact on the planet and society.
Some 25 experts, including scientists, journalists, brands and manufacturers, will address pressing issues facing the industry. Topics include how beauty companies can reinvent themselves to fight the climate crisis, new business models to meet new social standards and how to integrate diversity and inclusion.
The event will take place in person at Salons Hoche in Paris. It will also be recorded and participants will have access to the replay.
CEW France brings together some 200 industry executives for the annual event dedicated to future trends in beauty.
