Emerging tech and digital beauty trends to be revealed at Beauty Tech Live

Two top forecasters will explore tomorrow’s digital beauty trends and what is to come in emerging tech in a special future forecasting panel at the inaugural Beauty Tech Live event, which will take place from April 12-16.

Beauty Tech Live is the first B2B virtual event that brings together the worlds of beauty and tech. It is a forum for executives to share new ideas, inspiration and experiences in the area of beauty tech. The event is organized by BW Confidential in partnership with the Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company.

The panel will be led by two experts: Lucie Greene and Victoria Buchanan. Lucie Greene is a forecaster, strategist and award-winning author specializing in cultural trends, consumer insight and brand innovation. Her New York-based futures practice Light Years works with global lifestyle brands on strategy, research and innovation. She also advises venture capital and rising start-up companies.

In 2018, Greene released her debut book Silicon States: The Power and Politics of Big Tech and What it Means for Our Future. The book won the 800-CEO-READ Business Book Award in Current Events and Public Affairs in 2018.

Victoria Buchanan is Futures Director of London-based futures consultancy, The Future Laboratory. She specializes in future thinking and consumer research, and develops bespoke foresight projects for leading brands, such as L’Oréal, Spotify and Google.

The experts will discuss how they see beauty tech evolving, and cover a range of themes, from gaming, new social networks, in-store tech and virtual reality to the impact of Big Tech on the market.

The panel promises to offer digital inspiration and key insights on how industry players can better prepare their business for tomorrow.
