Facial mists. These products have gained popularity thanks to their on-the-go, easy-to-use format. The trend is also in line with the wellness and the no-make-up make-up look, as mists often feature natural ingredients and give a dewy finish. However, many social-media posts see users warn about the ingredients in some mists, saying some can be harmful if there are too many artificial fragrant ingredients.

Pore erasers. While e.l.f. Beauty’s Poreless Putty Primer has been trending on TikTok for some time, other products targeting visible pores are also rising in popularity on social media. For example, Maybelline’s Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer is gaining traction on Amazon’s Beauty & Personal Care category.

The one dip challenge. This YouTube challenge sees users post videos showing them use only one pump or swipe of a product in their make-up routine. The idea is to avoid wastage. The trend started with YouTube beauty guru Nikkie Tutorials and has been followed up by others, like James Charles.
