The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference kicks off this evening with a welcome cocktail party at the beach of the Carlton hotel in Cannes, France.
The trade show for duty-free and travel retail will run until October 1.
This year’s event will feature 482 exhibitors, including 54 new exhibitors and 29 boats in the Harbour Village.
The conference takes place tomorrow morning, with an opening address from new TFWA President Sarah Branquinho.
Other speakers during the conference include economist and author David McWilliams, Managing Director and Head of Industries at Oliver Wyman and author Gilles Roucolle, and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Charles Duhigg.
Broadcaster, journalist, and presenter of BBC World’s “Hard Talk”, Stephen Sackur returns as the moderator of the conference.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place after the conference to officially open the show.
The event also features workshops, a meeting service and after-work networking sessions.
