Trade show organizer Easyfairs has postponed its Paris packaging trade show ADF&PCD and PLD Paris, which was scheduled to take place in January 2021. The show will now take place from June 22-23, 2021.
The decision to postpone the show was due to the uncertainty and restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Easyfairs says the decision was made after consulting with the event’s stakeholders. While Easyfairs says it had implemented hygiene measures to ensure safety, the French government’s limit of 1,000 participants at events has made it impossible to organize the event on its original dates.
ADF&PCD and PLD Paris will launch a series of digital initiatives, in addition to a virtual event, to support the packaging industry and foster networking opportunities. In addition, a small event in Paris is currently being organized for a select group of top brand owners and suppliers.
