Beauty Tech Live to deliver insights on shop-tainment through digital

Three digital experts will explore the concept of shop-tainment during a panel at the inaugural Beauty Tech Live event, which will take place from April 12-16.

Beauty Tech Live is the first B2B virtual event that brings together the worlds of beauty and tech. The event will feature a seriesof conferences, panel discussions, talks and case studies from beauty and tech thought leaders, innovators and disruptors, with the aim of providing unique insights on how digital is impacting the beauty market. Beauty Tech Live will also house a premium expo space for select companies in the area of beauty tech. The event is organized by BW Confidential in partnership with the Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company.

The panel entitled: ‘Shop-tainment: How to make shopping online fun and boost sales through AR, virtual try-on and livestreaming, will be led by Sylvain Delteil, AVP Business Development of Perfect Corp Europe. Perfect Corp is now seen as the de facto leader in AR and AI based services for cosmetics companies.

Sylvain will be joined by two executives who have spearheaded a range of innovative digital initiatives:

Ekta Chopra, Chief Digital Officer of e.l.f. Beauty, where she is responsible for digital transformation, including engineering, data ecosystem, enterprise applications, security and consumer technologies.

Harminder Matharu, Director of Digital of Charlotte Tilbury, where he is responsible for the brand’s direct-to-consumer e-commerce business, digital marketing, customer care and CRM & loyalty, as well as digital partnerships including Google, Facebook, Pinterest, Snap Inc among others.

The three will discuss how the latest digital tools can make the online shopping experience more enjoyable and drive increased sales.
