The 30th edition of the Beautyworld Dubai show kicked off today in United Arab Emirates. The show is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 6-8.
BW Confidential is on the ground to bring you the latest news and trends from the show. We also created a Special Edition marking the 30th anniversary of Beautyworld Dubai.
Fragrance will once again be spotlighted at this year’s show. Exhibitors include fragrance houses Givaudan, dsm-firmenich, Symrise, Takasago, CPL Aromas and MANE, brands French Avenue, Riffs, Afnan, Lattafa and Armaf, as well as first-time participants like Kuwait’s Gissah and Saudi Arabia’s Al Majed for Oud.
The fragrance area spans over 19,000m2; this represents the category’s largest dedicated footprint in the show’s history, with more than 220 exhibitors and finished-fragrance brands expanding into Za’abeel Hall 7.

This year’s Beautyworld Dubai show will also host two important events devoted to better understanding the fragrance market: The Next in Fragrance Conference and Natural Notes.
Next in Fragrance brings together master perfumers, brand founders and trend forecasters for three days of dialogue and insights examine key developments shaping the future of perfumery, fragrance trends, how Gen Z and Gen Alpha are influencing consumption, and what the industry should look out for in the year ahead. Speakers include master perfumer Aurélien Guichard (Takasago and Matière Première), Louis Vuitton’s Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and Chalhoub Group’s Hani Jabbour, Senior Vice President of Beauty Joint Ventures.
Natural Notes brings natural-ingredient producers from around the world together with industry stakeholders. Delivered in partnership with agency Resperfuma, the program features a panel examining how brands and producers can work together to create long-term value, connecting the growers and distillers at the beginning of the perfumery supply chain with the brands that rely on their ingredients.

Beyond fragrance, the Makeup Studio (Hall 6) and the beautyLIVE stage (Al Multaqua Ballroom) will host live masterclasses by make-up artists Mary Phillips and Patrick Ta, and hair artists Mounir, Dimitris Giannetos and Josh Lamonaca. Mary Phillips will also take the stage at the Next in Beauty Conference (Hall 3), with Harrods’ Head of Beauty Mia Collins also speaking at the event.
The show will also host the Beautyworld Dubai Awards, recognizing innovation and excellence at a gala dinner at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on October 7. BW Confidential is exclusive media partner for the Awards, created the program for the evening and will also publish a special edition featuring the winners.
Awards will be presented in 17 categories across fragrance, skincare, cosmetics, hair, packaging, retail and beauty technology. The Beautyworld Icon Award will be presented to founder of Huda Beauty, Huda Kattan.
