Beautyworld Middle East opens today

Trade show Beautyworld Middle East opens its doors today in Dubai.

The event runs from October 5 to 7 at the Dubai World Trade Center. It will host exhibitors from 54 countries, plus 17 dedicated country pavilions.

The 25th edition will host exhibitors from Azerbaijan, Ghana, Hungary, the Philippines, Serbia and Syria for the first time. Meanwhile, the French pavilion will host 71 French companies, including 55 first-time exhibitors.

The event covers seven product categories: Cosmetics & Skincare; Hair, Nails & Salon Supplies; Machinery, Packaging & Raw Materials; Fragrance Compounds & Finished Fragrance; Personal Care & Hygiene; Natural & Organic; and Beauty Technology, a new segment.

The Beauty Technology section is dedicated to innovative, tech-driven products and solutions in the beauty and personal-care market. Solutions on display will cover areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), 3D printing, DNA analysis, ingredient transparency, beauty apps and virtual mirrors, among others products.

Meanwhile, the Beautyworld Middle East Awards 2021 will award winners on October 5 at a gala dinner. The awards recognize companies, products and executives for achievements in the beauty industry across eight categories.

BW Confidential has been named Official Press Partner of the trade show’s awards and Editor in Chief Oonagh Phillips is part of the jury. As official press partner, BW Confidential has published a special edition magazine covering the awards.

The show will take place with strict health and safety measures according to local government guidelines, says the show.

All visitors will be screened via contactless temperature checks prior to entering the venue through designated entrances. Additionally, online pre-registration is required for the event for contact tracing purposes. Wearing a face mask is mandatory at all times during the show.
