Beautyworld Middle East opens today

Trade show Beautyworld Middle East opens its doors today in Dubai. The event runs from October 31 to November 2 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

Some 1,400 beauty players from 66 countries will present at the show, which hosts seven sections: Cosmetics & Skincare; Hair, Nails & Salon Supplies; Machinery, Packaging, Raw Materials & Contract Manufacturing; Fragrance Compounds & Finished Fragrance; Personal Care & Hygiene; Natural & Organic and Beauty Technology.

The event will host 25 country pavilions, compared to last year’s 17, with the return of Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Morocco and Tunisia, after the six missed last year’s edition. Meanwhile, Korea, Thailand, the US and Germany have expanded their pavilion spaces.

The show’s organizer Messe Frankfurt Middle East notes that fragrance is one of the strongest segments at Beautyworld Middle East. Some 180 companies that work in raw materials, fragrance compounds, finished fragrance and packaging will exhibit at the show, including CPL Aromas, Eurofragance, Firmenich, Givaudan, MANE, Robertet and Symrise.

Beautyworld Middle East Show Director Flyn Roberts said: “The UAE has a global reputation for fragrances, as it is integral to local culture and traditions. With the continued growth of the sector, we have placed a special emphasis on the fragrance at this year’s event.”

Meanwhile, the Beautyworld Middle East Awards 2022 will reveal winners on October 31 at a gala dinner. The awards recognize companies, products and executives for achievements in the beauty industry across 13 categories. BW Confidential is media sponsor of the awards.
