French cosmetics cluster Cosmetic Valley’s trade show Cosmetic 360 kicks off today, running until October 14 in Paris at the Carrousel du Louvre. The show highlights innovations in the cosmetics and fragrance industry.
The seventh edition features a hybrid format that combines in-person meetings for local visitors in France and online seminars for international audiences. The online platform opened September 13 and allows users to organize and book virtual or in-person meetings.
The event is set to welcome 5,000 visitors. In terms of exhibitors, 30% are from outside France. First-time exhibitors include government agency Business France and Global Cosmetics Cluster Europe.
On October 13, the show will host the Cosmetic 360 Awards. The event recognizes innovations in categories such as raw materials, custom formulations and developments, packaging, finished products and distribution, among others. BW Confidential was a member of the jury for the Awards, and sponsored the Brands & Retail category.
New to the show is Cosmetic 360 Factory, which will highlight machines and equipment in the beauty industry. Cosmetic 360 Factory includes an area in where exhibitors will host product demonstrations.
