Cosmoprof Asia 2025 kicks off in Hong Kong

The 28th edition of Cosmoprof Asia opened its doors this morning in Hong Kong. The trade show, which is organized by BolognaFiere Group and Informa Markets Asia, will run until November 14.

BW Confidential is media partner and its team is on the ground in Hong Kong to bring you all the latest news from the show.

The show’s area for finished cosmetics Cosmoprof Asia will take place from November 12-14 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, while the area for suppliers, Cosmopack Asia takes place from November 11-13 at the AsiaWorld-Expo.

This year marks the debut of BIFA (Beauty Ingredients & Formulation Asia), which runs from November 11-12 November, co-located with Cosmopack Asia.

Over 2,800 exhibitors and over 70,000 visitors are expected to attend Cosmoprof Asia. The event includes around 20 country and group pavilions.

This year’s event highlights fragrance, which organizers say is one of the fastest-growing segments in the region. The show will feature two separate areas: Fragrance Avenue, displaying mass-market brands, and Explorers by Esxence, presenting niche fragrances organized in collaboration with perfumery event Esxence. It is the first time that niche fragrance brands will be highlighted at Cosmoprof Asia.

The show will host Cosmotalks and Cosmo Forum sessions, conferences featuring over 30 experts. The conferences will cover trends, analysis of market issues and case studies on consumer behavior.

The Cosmoprof Asia & Cosmopack Asia Awards will also take place during the show. The awards recognize companies for their research and development in formulation, packaging, sustainable approach, storytelling and value proposition. BW Confidential journalist Alison Postma is a member of the jury for this year’s Awards.
