Cosmoprof Asia canceled, moved to November 2021

Beauty trade show Cosmopack and Cosmoprof Asia, slated to take place in Hong Kong in November, has been canceled this year. Trade-show organizers BolognaFiere Group and Informa Markets said in July they would hold the Cosmopack Asia and Cosmoprof Asia shows in one venue this year, at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCE), from November 11-13.

However, the organizers said today that they decided to reschedule the show due to the COVID-19 pandemic and due to the Hong Kong government’s July 22 announcement that it will maintain travel restrictions in and out of the region until December 2020.

In the meantime, the event will launch its first-ever Cosmoprof Asia Digital Week, which will take place online from November 9 to 13 on cosmoprof-asia.com.

The digital platform is described as offering companies and professionals the ability to continue business, view products, meet clients and potential customers and stay up to date on beauty trends and technology.

The Digital Week will include a new business matching platform with online product showrooms, including cosmetics and packaging offerings, virtual meetings, meeting planners, live chat and video conferencing. Additional features include virtual factory visits, virtual main stage Cosmo Virtual Stage and the Virtual Series with some 20 experts leading live seminars and panel discussions.

Cosmoprof Asia Digital Week is free of charge for all trade visitors. Visitors who already pre-registered to Cosmoprof Asia 2020 will receive a new registration link to the Digital Week.

The next physical edition of Cosmopack and Cosmoprof Asia will take place in November 2021.
