Beauty trade show Cosmoprof Asia is gearing up for its first Digital Week, taking place virtually from November 9 to 13, with a suite of features aimed at fostering industry networking.
The AI-powered Match&Meet platform will facilitate business matching, connecting distributors, importers, retailers and manufacturers, and will allow users to manage meetings through video calls and chats. Exhibitors will be able to analyze their activities on the platform, collect reports after the event on visitor traffic on their profiles, engagement and percentages of news contacts.
The show will also include CosmoTalks with more than 20 webinars on themes such as Gen Z & Millennial consumption trends, sustainability, e-commerce and the beauty consumer’s “new normal”.
The Cosmo Virtual Stage, described as Digital Week’s hub for learning and entertaining, will host demos of hair, nail and make-up techniques, in addition to product presentations. Events include hair demos “Shiseido Professional Brave Elegance Moments” and “Fashion Blowing Style by iQ perfetto, GAMA Professional,” the #BeautyHunt program, featuring five beauty influencers and their views on what’s trending in beauty. There will also be yoga classes everyday at noon.
Digital Week will feature country pavilions, including Italy (by the Italian Trade Agency), Korea (by KOTRA), Poland (by POLCHARM), Spain (by ICEX), the UK (by Birmingham Chamber of Commerce) and China (by the Guangzhou and Yiwu group).
The five-day event expects to see 500 exhibitors and 10,000 buyers from more than 70 countries.
The show has also invited Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN (Bangkok) exhibitors and buyers to the event.
