Trade show Cosmoprof Asia opens today in Singapore at the Singapore Expo Center.
Running until November 18, it is Cosmoprof Asia’s first in-person event in two years. While the show typically takes place in Hong Kong, organizers BolognaFiere Group and Informa Markets said they would relocate Cosmoprof Asia 2022 to Singapore in a bid to attract international participation. Singapore currently allows fully vaccinated visitors to enter without a pre-departure test, on-arrival test or quarantine requirements.
The show will host 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions and cover 50,000m2 (538,195ft2) of floor space. Some 15,000 visitors are expected to attend.
The event will also host 18 country and regional pavilions including Australia, California, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mainland China, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the UK and West Africa.
Cosmoprof Asia will house finished products categories including cosmetics & toiletries, salon, nails, natural & organic and hair. Meanwhile, Cosmopack Asia will host suppliers from the ingredients, contract manufacturing, primary & secondary packaging, print & label and machinery & equipment sectors.
