
The fourth edition of the Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN trade show opens its doors tomorrow at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand.
This year’s event will feature more than 2,000 brands from 650 exhibitors, and 17,000 visitors from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Italy, the US, and over 20 other countries.
The show is organized by BolognaFiere, Informa Markets and Shanghai Baiwen Exhibition Co., Ltd., alongside industry partners.
Sanchai Noombunnam, General Manager of Informa Markets Thailand, notes that Thailand has emerged as a hub for the ASEAN beauty market, boasting an average growth rate of 11%.
Southeast Asia’s beauty market was valued at $34bn last year. The region is projected to expand at a CAGR of 16% from 2024–2028, making it one of the world’s fastest-growing beauty and cosmetics regions.
Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere, added: “The Asean beauty market is expanding significantly. According to Euromonitor International, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand are among the top 10 countries recording the highest annual growth rate from 2024 to 2025”
This year’s show will spotlight beauty trends across all sectors of the beauty industry, ranging from ingredients and raw materials, natural and organic beauty products, supplements, OEM/ODM solutions, packaging and manufacturing technology.
There are several zones tailored to both Thai and international businesses, as well as national pavilions for China, South Korea and Italy.
Key trends for the region include beauty solutions tailored to local skin tones and climates; the organic and natural product segment, which is seeing average growth of 9.2% per year; men’s grooming, and beauty targeting aging consumers.
