“We are excited to welcome the world’s beauty industry professionals to Hong Kong this November for Cosmoprof Asia 2025,” says the organiser. “According to BDA Partners, Hong Kong remains a key hub for the Asian beauty market, which continues to boom and is projected to reach an impressive US$302.82bn by 2029, showing a compound annual growth rate of 6.74% from 2024 to 2029.

This growth underscores Asia’s pivotal role in the global beauty industry. During the show, Cosmopack Asia will showcase the speed at which the region’s supply chain is evolving, exploring dynamic trends in sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution that align with the industry’s emphasis on e-commerce and sustainability. This is indeed an exciting time to engage with Asia’s beauty sector.”

Cosmopack Asia: A fresh and focused rebrand

Launching a fresh rebrand, Cosmopack Asia’s offerings will be divided into two distinct sub-segments to more precisely tailor the exhibitor and attendee experience, improve networking opportunities and attract diverse participants. The subsegments are:

  • OEM/ODM & Raw Materials, which will focus on contract and private-label manufacturing and essential raw materials.
  • Machinery & Packaging, which will highlight advancements in machinery and packaging solutions.

Within the two segments, the show’s renowned reputation for eye-catching displays of innovation will remain, providing global industry professionals an inspirational combination of discovery and networking.

What are you expecting from your participation at Cosmopack Asia 2025?

Denis Maurin, President – Innovation & Strategy at HCT: HCT is a global company with a strong footprint in China and across Asia. Our participation in Cosmoprof Asia showcases our advanced capabilities to the wider regional market and reaffirms our commitment to staying ahead of global beauty trends, empowering both us and our clients with a competitive edge worldwide.

Maurizio Ficcadenti, Global R&D Manager, Baralan International: Cosmoprof Asia represents a strategic opportunity for us to strengthen our presence in a dynamic and ever-evolving market. Our goal is to reinforce existing relationships and develop new ones by showcasing our “full packaging solution” approach, which combines Italian design, technical innovation, and global service. We aim to meet the needs of international brands by delivering top-quality solutions.

Lorenzo Gatti, Beauty Sales Director, Marchesini Group: Cosmoprof Asia 2025 will be an excellent opportunity for us to meet new clients and engage with all the players in the Asian cosmetic supply chain. In recent years, we have been investing heavily in this geographic area, which is experiencing significant growth. China, along with the United States, is one of our main markets for global cosmetics.

Dongpil Choi, CEO, Woojung Tech: We see Cosmopack Asia as a key opportunity to expand Woojung Tech’s presence in the Asia-Pacific beauty market. Our goal is to connect with both indie brands and OEMs/ODMs, showing how our automation technology solves key production challenges like labor shortages, consistency, and scalable customization. We also aim to explore collaboration with formulation and packaging experts, while observing trends to fine-tune our R&D.

What innovations will you showcase at Cosmoprof Asia 2025?

Lorenzo Gatti, Marchesini Group: Our team will be at the fair to illustrate a variety of solutions for cosmetic product packaging. To meet market demands, the Group has invested in comprehensive solutions for liquids, including foundation, mascara, and especially fragrances. In fact, Marchesini Group Beauty produces a wide range of versatile machines designed to meet the operational speeds and other requirements of the perfumery market.

Maurizio Ficcadenti, Baralan International: Baralan will showcase primary packaging solutions in glass and plastic for skincare, make-up, and fragrance. Featured products include the DEA system, the Premium Re-Charge System, and 3D decoration. We offer both ready-to-go and customizable products, with a focus on aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and creativity, enhancing our clients’ brand identity in a dynamic market.

Denis Maurin, HCT: Brands in Asia are remarkably quick to embrace new designs and technologies. We are proud to be launching exciting new projects with some of the region’s most prestigious names, as well as with its fastest-growing innovators in this dynamic market.

Dongpil Choi, Woojung Tech: We will present our newest filling systems for lipsticks, powders, and mascaras, designed for high precision and output. These systems increase speed and reduce filling deviation, ideal for brands focused on both quality and efficiency. As APAC markets demand faster, more varied launches, our equipment enables quick line changes and stable production, even for small batch, diverse SKUs.

How is your company aiming to balance luxury and sustainability?

Denis Maurin, HCT: We consistently showcase our latest innovations in packaging and formulation, with a strong focus on luxury sustainable design. Our recent advances in materials strike the ideal balance between cost efficiency and environmental responsibility—featuring metal and stone applicators, as well as mono-material and refillable components with unique gestures.

Lorenzo Gatti, Marchesini Group: One of our most requested solutions is the lipstick machine featuring SEA Vision’s innovative A-eye lipstick system. This 360° lipstick inspection system is the world’s first AI-based system for automatic quality control of lipsticks in production, automating the qualitative inspection process that was previously largely reliant on manual human control.

Dongpil Choi, Woojung Tech: Woojung Tech is embedding sustainability into its operations. Ahead of the show, we’re completing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, reinforcing our ESG commitment across our supply chain and workplace. We’re also preparing for ESG supplier audits and reporting, helping clients meet rising regional expectations without compromising on production quality.

What new business products are you working on?

Lorenzo Gatti, Marchesini Group:  Marchesini Group Beauty can work on new projects, including not only flexible stand-alone options tailored to market demand but also customizable lines and ground breaking technologies that align perfectly with the latest trends.

Denis Maurin, HCT: We are investing in expanding our capabilities—upgrading our plastic and metal injection factory, renewing our global patents for Cooling Tip Technology™, and deepening collaboration with our extensive supplier network.

Maurizio Ficcadenti, Baralan International: We are developing tailor-made projects for the Asia-Pacific market, where the demand for quality, sustainability, and distinctive aesthetics continues to grow. We provide Made in Italy packaging that blends refined design, advanced technical solutions, and production flexibility, delivering customized beauty packaging solutions. Asia-Pacific is a key focus of our strategic vision, and we aim to be the ideal partner for both local and international brands seeking innovation and added value through packaging.

Dongpil Choi, Woojung Tech: We established CDP Technology in Shanghai to better serve China, with a team providing technical support and training.
