The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) has revealed that John Price, Managing Director of Americas Market Intelligence (AMI), will be the keynote speaker for the 2025 Summit of the Americas, to be held March 8-11, 2025 at the InterContinental Miami in Florida, US.
The keynote will take place during the conference session program on the morning of Sunday, March 9. Price will speak about the political, economic and social trends in Latin America that drive the travel sector, as well as the evolution of the region’s affluent and mass-affluent travelers. He will also review the economic outlook for Latin America for the next several years.
Price is a Latin America market consultant and public speaker. He has published numerous articles on the region’s business trends and has a column in its largest circulated English language magazine, Latin Trade. In 2007, Price co-wrote and co-edited Can Latin America Compete? published by Palgrave.
He teaches as an adjunct professor at Florida International University and is a guest lecturer at the University of Miami. Price is also a board member of the Canadian Council of the Americas.
