On Tuesday night, industry association CEW France held its annual gala dinner for its Centres de Beauté, which provide beauty treatments to patients suffering from cancer and other illnesses.
Some 350 beauty executives attended the gala dinner, which this year took place at the Westin Vendôme Hotel in Paris.
Proceeds from the charity dinner go towards funding the treatments that the Centres de Beauté offer.
More than 42,000 beauty treatments were offered to 28,000 patients in France in 2024 thanks to the CEW’s Centres de Beauté. The CEW France works with 38 socio-estheticians, two hairdressers and one reflexologist who provide beauty treatments in 43 hospitals in France.
Commenting on the work of the Centres de Beauté, Françoise Montenay, President of CEW France and the Centres de Beauté said: “Since their creation in 1992, Les Centres de Beauté have been able to think big thanks to the many companies that believed in their mission. Over the years, the Centres de Beauté have developed a true spirit of patronage, making this initiative a collective charitable work for the beauty profession.” She continued: “The common goal is to offer hospitalized patients a moment of relaxation, of interaction with a socio-esthetician who listens and provides advice that brings physical and moral well-being, self-esteem and strength.”
In support of CEW France and the Centres de Beauté, BW Confidential once again this year, published and donated a special booklet, which was distributed at the Gala event. The brochure highlights the work done by the Centres de Beauté and the benefits they bring to patients.
A big thank you to Chanel and Givaudan, which sponsored this special edition.
