L’Oréal to exhibit at first China International Consumer Product Expo in Hainan

L’Oréal is to participate in the inaugural China International Consumer Product Expo (CICPE) in Hainan, running from May 7-10.

Hosted at the Haikou International Convention and Exhibition Center, the company will have a 500m2 (5,381ft2) space. L’Oréal will showcase its brands and launches with an emphasis on sustainability and technology.

CICPE is organized by China’s Ministry of Commerce’s Trade Development Bureau and the Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development. The expo aims to accelerate Hainan Free Trade Port’s construction and international business opportunities.

The exhibition space will be separated into two sections: Country & Region Exhibition and Industries Products Exhibition.

The Industries Products Exhibition is divided into: Fashion, Jewelry, Lifestyle & Outdoors, Food & Supplements and Hospitality & Professional Services, among others. It will host international brands and companies.

Other attendees include travel retailer DFS (LVMH), French department-store group Galeries Lafayette and Japanese beauty company Shiseido.
