Trade shows Luxe Pack New York and MakeUp in NewYork have both been cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Luxe Pack New York had been originally moved from May to July and was then rescheduled to September. However, the organizers decided to cancel this year’s edition and hold the next event in spring 2021.
Organizers said the move is due to the uncertainty surrounding domestic and international travel and the re-opening timeline.
Likewise, MakeUp in NewYork will not take place this year. The next edition will be in September 2021.
The show’s organizers created digital platform BeauteaMatch in June. The site aims to connect attendees with beauty suppliers, in addition to providing digital tools to help businesses and product launches, the show says.
