The MakeUp in New York trade show opens its doors today at the Javits Center in New York City. The show runs today and tomorrow. BW Confidential is media partner of the event.
The 15th edition of the show will feature more than 160 exhibitors from over 13 countries.
The conference program will include sessions with companies such as Unilever, IFF, Anisa International, Victoria Beckham Beauty, Ilia Beauty and Supergoop. Additionally, Danessa Myricks, Founder of Danessa Myricks Beauty, will deliver a keynote speech.
The event’s IT Awards received more than 80 make-up and skincare product entries. There are two special awards this year, the Ready-to-Market IT Award for innovations designed for rapid market launch and the Full Service IT Award for innovations excelling in both formulation and packaging. The jury selected 21 products as finalists for the IT Awards. The winners in each category will be announced at the Awards ceremony today at 9.30am.
