Trade show MakeUp in Paris kicks off today, running until October 21 in Paris at the Carrousel du Louvre.
The show will host 106 exhibitors, including 18 first-time exhibitors, from the packaging and formula sectors. The event also includes tech companies with solutions for e-commerce and face tracking for online make-up try-ons.
MakeUp in Paris will organize 11 workshops and conferences.
Part of the line-up includes CosmeticsCoCreation, which asks social-media influencers to create a skincare or make-up collection over the two days of the event in association with participating companies and exhibitors. CosmeticsCoCreation is organized by French branding and creative agency Centdegrés and digital marketing studio Firstgen. The two agencies will work with the influencers to develop the collection. Exhibitors HCP Packaging and Ms Beautilab will also provide support.
