Trade show organizer Messe Frankfurt France is to launch Beautyworld Summit Grasse, an international event focused on fragrance as part of its Beautyworld portfolio next year. Developed in partnership with the City of Grasse, the Pays de Grasse Agglomeration Community and Grasse Expertise, the event will be held in Grasse, France from May 10-11, 2027.
The summit is intended to complement the Beautyworld trade shows held around the world and will focus on conferences, round tables and meetings between decision-makers, perfumers, innovation, research and sustainability leaders, institutions, investors and industry experts.
The summit aims to facilitate knowledge sharing and dialogue among an international community of industry leaders, experts and professionals and will focus on issues related to raw materials, sustainability, regulatory developments, scientific advances, artificial intelligence and new consumer expectations.
It will bring together the region’s public, institutional, academic and economic stakeholders, with the aim of strengthening the international influence of Grasse, with the help of the visibility of the Beautyworld network. The fragrance houses, partner companies, speakers, formats and various sessions will be unveiled progressively from this fall.
The program will be organized around three main themes. Heritage & Innovation will examine how savoir-faire, knowledge transmission, research, training and technological advances are shaping the future of perfumery. Raw Materials & Sustainability will explore issues related to natural resources, responsible sourcing, traceability, biotechnologies, regulatory developments and the resilience of supply chains. Trends & Creation will look at market developments, new consumer expectations, artificial intelligence, olfactory creation and the opportunities influencing the future of fragrance.
Applications for congress participation are due to open on November 10.
