OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna kicks off today in Bologna, Italy and will run until September 13.
This is one of the first in-person beauty events in Europe since the onset of the pandemic. Cosmoprof Las Vegas took place from August 29 to 31. Organizers of the show say the event will offer an opportunity for the industry to meet and for exhibitors to present new products before the return of the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna show, set to take place in March 2022. As reported, this year’s Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna show, which had been scheduled to take place in April, was postponed to March 10 to 14, 2022 due to the pandemic.
OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna features a streamlined format, with around 227 exhibitors. Confirmed exhibitors represent 14 countries.
On September 9 and 10, the show will host two exhibition areas for companies in the supply chain and retail sectors. The supply-chain sector, represents contract manufacturers and suppliers of raw materials, process technologies and packaging, while the retail section will feature a mix of online and offline brands.
The green and organic cosmetics exhibition area will take run from September 9 to 12, while the professional beauty, spa and nail companies and services area will be open from September 11 to 13.
A program of presentations and other content will be presented for each sector at the show. On September 9 and 10, experts will analyze issues facing the future of the industry, including new technologies and their impact on consumption habits and the balance between digital innovation and sustainability.
OnBeauty by Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will take place at the same times as the pharmaceutical industry event Cosmofarma Exhibition.
In compliance with health and safety regulations, visitors and exhibitors will be required to present a valid COVID-19 green certificate. The certificate shows proof of vaccination, a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours or proof of recovery from COVID-19.
Additionally, body temperature will be scanned at each entry point and masks will be mandatory.
