Paris Packaging Week opens today

Paris Packaging Week, the event dedicated to packaging in beauty, aerosols and premium drinks, opens today at Paris’ Porte de Versailles.

Organizers are expecting 10,000 professionals in the packaging sector from across Europe to attend. The show will host 600 exhibitors.

The PCD part of the show is for packaging and supplier companies in the fragrance, cosmetics and skincare sectors, and will host 450 exhibitors this year.

The ADF part of the show highlights aerosol and dispensing innovations, while PLD, which launched in 2020, is dedicated to packaging in the premium and luxury drinks segment.

In December, show organizer Easyfairs announced new branding for ADF & PCD and PLD Paris, bringing it under the Paris Packaging Week brand name. Easyfairs says the move aims to bring the French and international packaging communities across the organizer’s events in Paris, London and Milan.

Additionally, the show will host three Awards ceremonies to celebrate brands, suppliers and creative packaging.

BW Confidential created the special-edition magazine for the Innovation Awards. The magazine features the award winners, in addition to key trends that emerged from the competition.
