BW Confidential is pleased to announce that Javier Bach, Chief Operating Officer of Spanish company Puig is to be a speaker at the new Beauty Tech Live virtual event set to take place from April 12-16, 2021.
Beauty Tech Live is the first B2B Virtual Expo & Conference that will bring together tech products, solutions and services for the beauty industry in one place. It will also be a forum for executives to share new ideas, inspiration and experiences in the area of beauty tech. The event is organized by BW Confidential in partnership with the Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company.
Bach joined Puig in 1995 and held a variety of positions in the International Department. He served as General Manager International Markets in the former Prestige Division and was subsequently named Vice President, International Markets for Puig in 2006. In 2009, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer.
Puig’s portfolio includes beauty and fashion brands such as Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dries Van Noten, Penhaligon’s, L’Artisan Parfumeur and licenses such as Christian Louboutin and Comme des Garçons Parfums, as well as lifestyle fragrances such as Adolfo Dominguez, Antonio Banderas, Shakira and Benetton. The company also recently acquired luxury make-up brand Charlotte Tilbury and created a Derma division housing brands, such as Apivita, Uriage and Isdin.
Puig revealed that it is targeting sales of €3bn in 2023.
Bach will share his vision of how digital is impacting the fragrance market and the opportunities for the category in the future. He will deliver valuable insights on digital transformation at the Beauty Tech Live Knowledge Hub, which will host a series of conferences, panel discussions, talks and case studies from beauty and tech thought leaders, innovators and disruptors.
