The 19th edition of SIMPPAR, the international trade show for perfumery raw materials, opens today on the Cours Honoré Cresp in Grasse, France. The two-day show is organized by Société Française des Parfumeurs (SFP – French Society of Perfumers).
It is the second time the show is taking place in Grasse. This year 128 exhibitors will take part in the event.
Last year’s show took place at Espace Champerret in Paris, France. It had 120 exhibitors representing 24 countries and received more than 4,000 visitors over the two days, including almost 350 perfumers.
The show will also be the setting for The International Young Perfumer Prize, which will be awarded by the SFP followed by the traditional cocktail party.
