TFWA Cannes exhibition kicks off with opening cocktail

The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference kicked off tonight in Cannes with a packed opening cocktail at the city’s Carlton Hotel.

The cocktail party included an impressive firework display, marking the TFWA’s 40th anniversary, which the association is celebrating at this week’s show.

The show officially opens its doors tomorrow morning, with the traditional opening conference. Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is to deliver a keynote conversation at the conference. She is expected to discuss the global political landscape and trends impacting the geopolitical environment.

Clinton has spent over five decades in public service as an advocate, attorney, First Lady, US Senator, US Secretary of State and presidential candidate.

As usual, the conference will begin with an opening address from TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen.

The Beauty Party

During this week’s show, BW Confidential will host its annual The Beauty Party, bringing together the beauty community in a festive setting. This year, The Beauty Party will take place on Tuesday October 1 at the Majestic Hotel and will celebrate BW Confidential’s 15th anniversary.

It will also be the occasion to present the Beauty Retailer of the Year Award to travel retailer Avolta. The Award will be accepted by Avolta CEO Xavier Rossinyol.

The Beauty Party is organized in association with key retailer Qatar Duty Free, Platinum Sponsor.

The event is also sponsored by LUXASIA, an omni-channel brand builder for beauty brands in Asia Pacific.

BW Confidential and i.lab

This year’s TFWA show in Cannes will once again host the i.lab, the area devoted to innovation, tech, digital and data solutions. The area will showcase a wide range of creative services to engage with the traveling consumer.

BW Confidential is once again media partner of the i.lab.

The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference will run until October 3. The BW Confidential team is on the ground to bring the latest news and trends from the show.
