TFWA gears up for Asia Pacific show

The TFWA is gearing up for its Asia Pacific Exhibition and Conference, which takes place in Singapore from May 12-16.

This year, the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition area will open on the same day as the conference, with delegates having access to the exhibition from 2.30pm.

The conference will open with a state-of-the industry address from TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen, followed by remarks from APTRA President Sunil Tuli and Alvin Tan, Minister of Trade and Industry for Singapore.

Also at the conference, author and economist Keyu Jin will outline her perspectives on the economic outlook of Asia Pacific, while business marketing expert and author Nirmalya Kumar will discuss the the Indian market. Closing the conference, physicist, author and professor, Dr Michio Kaku will discuss how technology will impact the duty-free and travel-retail industry.

In addition to the conference, the event will host two workshops: China Watch and Decoding Today’s Dwell Time.

The show will also feature the TFWA i.lab Asia, devoted to technology and retail innovation.
