The TFWA has revealed that former NBA basketballer, entrepreneur and philanthropist Tony Parker will speak at this year’s TFWA World Conference. Parker will speak about leadership, resilience and teamwork.
Parker replaces Mexican politician Gloria Guevara Manzo, who had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances.
The conference will begin with an opening address from TFWA President Philippe Margueritte.
Broadcaster, journalist and presenter of BBC World’s “Hard Talk”, Stephen Sackur will return as the moderator of the conference.
Updates have also been made to the workshop schedule. On Wednesday October 1, the Next Horizon: Charting the Future of Travel Retail workshop will include an introduction from TFWA Managing Director Franck Waechter, and the session will be moderated by Nicole Daniells, Member Services Manager at TFWA.
The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference will take place in Cannes this year from September 28-October 2.
